Hailing from Washington State, Juan Fortino made Brooklyn, NY his home. Juan was a powerhouse singer/songwriter/performer. His original compositions and covers are delicate and thoughtful interpretations of American life.

Mr. Fortino teamed with the best jazz musicians in NYC to the delight of audiences in New York City, New Jersey and Long Island music scenes. Juan’s grand stage presence and strong, but sensitive voice captures and hold listener's attention.
 

Juan shaped his voice displaying a level of sincerity and control rarely seen today. He studied with Jazz Legend and mentor Jay Clayton at the Cornish College of the Arts and worked at the Vermont Jazz Center. In conjunction with his work in the jazz world, he worked in dance and soul music with numerous notables including Bob Powers, Oscar Zambrano and Dawn Tallman.
 

In August of 2022, Juan unexpectedly passed and the world is poorer for his death. We will release all of his music in short term.
